Preschool
Nursery babies are distinguished with a set of characteristics that are unique to their growth at this stage, and they appear to have many of physical and psychological needs as a result of many important changes that occur to this growth. At this stage, we find that child growth is increasing in: Height: The height of the child ranges between 84cm at the age of three to 115cm, on average, at the age of six. Weight: it increases from 12 Kg at the beginning of this phase to 19 kg at its end. Other parts have significant growth, such as internal organs, head, face and parts. Obvious changes occur in the body as well like what happens in the nervous, skeletal and muscular systems. This requires paying attention to nutrition, exercise and getting enough sleep, but if we noticed an irregularity in the growth of these devices, inferiority or upwardly, in an abnormal manner, we have to consult doctors and specialists to treat this disorder.

Early Childhood

Early Childhood is one of the most fertile periods for information acquisition and mental activity due to the growth of cells, nerve fibers and the cortex which is the most developed part of the brain in this period, and which is linked to involuntary behavior and mental activity. Perhaps, the growth of this part explains the speed and ease with which a child acquires information, participation, and thinking in solving problems. This confirms the existence of a link between physical growth and cognitive growth of the child [Growth Psychology, Hamada Wahdan, page no. 149]
