Preschool
Nursery babies are distinguished with a set of characteristics that are unique to their growth at this stage, and they appear to have many of physical and psychological needs as a result of many important changes that occur to this growth. At this stage, we find that child growth is increasing in: Height: The height of the child ranges between 84cm at the age of three to 115cm, on average, at the age of six. Weight: it increases from 12 Kg at the beginning of this phase to 19 kg at its end. Other parts have significant growth, such as internal organs, head, face and parts. Obvious changes occur in the body as well like what happens in the nervous, skeletal and muscular systems. This requires paying attention to nutrition, exercise and getting enough sleep, but if we noticed an irregularity in the growth of these devices, inferiority or upwardly, in an abnormal manner, we have to consult doctors and specialists to treat this disorder.
How can I trim the nails of my child without hurting him
Peeling the tip of the nail may be the easiest way to trim your baby's nails. The child's fingernails are flexible, so itís easy to remove the extra portions of them. Otherwise, you can buy children scissors with a bending, non sharp angle. Trimming nails may become easier if two adults do the job. One of you will catch the child to prevent him from hyperactivity, wiggling and circumvent while the other trims his fingernails. You can try to do it during breast feeding or sleeping because he will be quieter. Make sure you pay attention to the skin at the bottom of the nail so you do not hurt your child, and hold his hand while you trim his fingernails. Cut the nails around the curve of hand fingers, and cut his toenails straight. Do not trim the edges of the nail severely, because it may stick in the flesh causing inflammation. You can also use a nail file for smoothing your child nails gently. If nails were not too long, you do not need to trim them. You can also use the nail file to shape the fingernails and remove any rough edges after trimming. Early Childhood is one of the most fertile periods for information acquisition and mental activity due to the growth of cells, nerve fibers and the cortex which is the most developed part of the brain in this period, and which is linked to involuntary behavior and mental activity. Perhaps, the growth of this part explains the speed and ease with which a child acquires information, participation, and thinking in solving problems. This confirms the existence of a link between physical growth and cognitive growth of the child [Growth Psychology, Hamada Wahdan, page no. 149]

The period of lacteus dens completion and the onset of permanent teeth
Where the number of lacteus dens is completed between second and sixth year, and the child becomes ready to eat adults food, they begin to fall and permanent teeth begin to appear. At the age of six, usually one or two of the permanent teeth start to appear. Lacteus dens is an indication of child health status and the impact of nutrition and other factors affecting the growth of permanent teeth. Some children suffer from the process of indentation, which may sometimes be accompanied with a slight rise in temperature and irritated mood for the child. If these are ordinary issues occurring with the growth of child's teeth, we as parents and educators should care about child's teeth and get him used to clean them using a toothbrush and toothpaste. Also, we should not extract a lacteus dens when it is having dental caries, however we should fill it and wait until it falls. It was observed that lacteus dens extraction prematurely leaves a gap for the adjacent teeth to grow distorted whereas keeping them keep place for the permanent teeth to come out in their right place. It is advised to examine the teeth twice a year starting from the third year of child's age.
