Baby
Child age from one to two months: Child grows rapidly day after day. When lying on his stomach, child raises his head at an angle of 45° and moves his head right and left, whereas when he is lying on his back, he focuses his sight on something and stares at it, in this case games such as rattles or alarm clocks can be an exciter for the child at this stage. Most normal kids tackle their hands vigorously while sleeping, and sometimes suck their fingers unconsciously while sleeping too, some put all their fingers inside their mouth, however the child often sucks his thumb, and when he feels hungry he starts crying. Sometimes, you may notice that the child is staring constantly at a specific direction, this depends on his position. To keep baby's head well shaped, you should move it from time to time or modify baby’s entire position. After two months, the child begins to laugh, this delights the mother too much and increases the tenderness between the mother and her child. The child becomes happier and emotionally settled down towards others. The baby stays awake longer and sleeps through the night.

Is taking a nap helpful to endure the day?

A nap could enable you to face sleep deprivation as a result of waking up with your child during the night. In fact, until your child starts to follow a schedule to sleep more regularly (usually in the third or fourth month of age), taking a nap could be part of your plan or your daily routine:

-If you were present with your child at home during the day, nap while he sleeps.

-If you work outside home, try flexible working hours or allocate some time to take a nap during working hours. Only 10 minutes nap, may make you feel refreshed.

-Do not nap for more than 30 minutes because you go in the stage of deep sleep and you will face a bigger problem in waking up.
